" Summer Season Registration Form
Ex-Timberwolves players Tom Boyle and Andrew Kelly tasted success in the State Championship Men's finals last weeked defeating Ringwood in a best of three series. Also involved Timberwolves parent Rod Denman (Assistant Coach).
Not so fortunate were Georgia Stott (Hawthorn) and Tom Chambers (Melbourne) who went down to the opposition in their respective grades in the third game of each series.
The grading fixtures for Monday and Tuesday nights are available online. Download them here or follow the links on the left to the WBA site.
Please all remember that Presentation Night is on Monday 30th August (tryouts start from 4.30pm, trophies from 5.30pm). All available to help please be there by 4.30pm or earlier.
Fixtures are ready and up on the WBA Web Site. Please view your fixtures carefully and be aware of the games played at the outside venue - Penpraze Park. This will be listed on your fixture as venue 'PP1'
Penpaze Park Recreation Centre is located: Victoria Road South, Malvern MELWAYS: 59 D11. Limited parking is available at the back of the Malvern Primary School, so please park on Tooronga Road

The Semi Final' Draft of game times, will be available after this coming Saturday's Round and posted up on the WBA Web.
Moving Forward.....we now have to start thinking about next season. In the few weeks you will be asked to make a commitment to whether you will be playing next season and to help us recruit new players into teams.....
In particular we will be looking for players at u8, u10 levels. There has also been interest in establishing an u16 Girls team for Tuesday night, and a Men's team for Wednesday (we have 5 players all ready!). There are also places available in the Monday night Men's competition.

As is the case this time every season we are on the look out for coaching staff. In particular we need to recruit Adult coaches who are able to be involved on Monday trainings, as well as Saturday games.
This season, as a result of the normal generational change in a basketball club, it is expected that we will lose at least three of our adult coaches, and probably five of our senior teenage coaches as they enter the world of work and university.
We need you to step up to the plate!

This article is about a camp for domestic players for next school holidays and happens to be running at Waverley!
They normally sell out pretty quickly as most of the camps we hold are normally for representative players so this would be a great camp for Wolves players.
All of the games are now available online as video from 2 hours after the game time. So now you can let your grandparents, or cousins watch that winning goal..... To use the tool you need to register at http://www.jamware.tv It is free! Search for your team e.g. TIMBERWOLVES Ramblers and ask to join the team.
If you are the team Manager you will be able to approve the request once you have registered and let us know that you are online. An instruction sheet is available on request.
Timberwolves Basketball Club provides an opportunity for around 200 children per season to participate in a positive team environment. We cater for both boys and girls aged between 7 -18 years with any skill level, including those who have never played basketball before. We also enter Senior teams in the mid-week competition to cater for ex-juniors and their friends and family.
The Club's main objective is to offer basketball in a fun and safe environment where winning is not the most important aspect.
